Turning a challenge into opportunity
Every business owner knows the feeling: a customer leaves happy, but the review never comes. Asking feels awkward, and by the time you follow up, the moment’s gone. TapDirectly started from that exact gap — we wanted a way to capture a review while the customer is still in front of you, with none of the friction. One tap, and their phone opens your Google review page. That’s the whole idea.

What is an NFC review card?
It's a small tap-to-review card (or stand, sticker, or keychain) that lets your customers leave you a Google review in seconds. They tap their phone against it, your Google review page opens instantly, and they leave a rating. No searching, no typing your business name, no friction.
How does it actually work?
Every card has a tiny NFC chip inside, programmed with a link to your Google review page. When a customer holds their phone near the card, the phone reads the chip and opens the review page automatically. It works the same way as tap-to-pay, just pointed at your review link instead of a payment terminal.
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. NFC is built into virtually every modern smartphone, and it opens the link right in the phone's browser. Nothing to install on their end. You'll use a free app once, for about two minutes, to write your review link onto the card — after that it's done.
